Neuropathy?

I was wondering if anyone else is struggling with neuropathy? My hubby's big toe on his left foot has been hurting for months. At first, the Dr.'s said it was just a weird after affect from surgery. They ruled out gout and now think that it is neuropathy. He is now going to physical therapy for it - they use an ultrasound on his toe and it helps it feel better for 5 hours. He goes twice a week.
Thanks for any help and ideas you might have ~
Shelly

    Hi,
    Jim STILL has neuopathy,

    Hi,
Jim STILL has neuopathy, but it is much better with frequent acupuncture. Since we have traveled from Houston to Colorado, we haven't found an acupuncturist locally yet, but we are trying.
It has reversed somewhat from the improvement we noticed a few weeks ago. His feet and legs tingle and continually feel cold. Today we bought battery powered socks to keep his feet warm while he goes fishing.
Fingertips are better most of the time, so I think it WILL work when we use it consistently. Hard to find someone in the high mountains of Colorado and a 200 mile round trip several times a week isn't going to work with diesel at $2.95 a gallon!
