Had my visit with the endo on Friday. Based on the fact that I am 49 years old, my tumor was vascular and non-encapsulated, I have lymph node mets (1 of 3 tested), it was a pretty bad appointment. I know that it isn't going to be easy to beat this. That Hurthle Cells are resistant to RI, but I need some positive survivors with this to help raise my mood. I know tht they still need to do a body scan, and can't tell if this will be accepting or resistant to the RI....but I need some hope....can anyone out there give me some good outcome stories or advice????
