I know how you feel. My platelets are notoriously low, but once they start rebounding, they do it in a big way. Two weeks ago, mine were 92,000 and last Friday they were 94,000; today, they were 123,000.
I'm praying for
Yes,
I'm praying for you.
Are they giving you medicines to raise your platelet counts up? Also, how do you feel generally?
It usually takes a couple of weeks or so.
Stay strong and hang in there.

platelets
How those platelets? Can get frustrating I know. I have only been on schedule two times out of 13 treatments because of low platelets. And I am taking Neumega shots to boost them up!! Go figure!
I know I keep saying this, but I know we are each made differently and maybe we just can't all take chemo every 2 weeks, or 3 weeks and maybe some of us just don't fit into the regular mode. Some maybe need a week or two longer to rebound.
My doctor said I have weak bone marrow!! Guess so after all this chemo since February 2008! I imagine it would be weak. Has not had much time off to recuperate. ☺
Hope you are back on schedule!
Love,
Libby
