Does a person have a very good chance if they go into remmission and don't have a SCT? I was just wonder because I may not have one. I hope to get into remission. Has any one done this? I really like to hear from someone. Thanks
I can't answer your question but I can tell you this; I had 2 stem cell transplants in 2005 at The Myeloma Institute for Research And Therapy at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. I have been in remission for over 3 years and it has been over 5 years since my dx. One thing I have learned during my years of treatment is that everyone's experience is somewhat different.
