I haven't posted in a while but I have been trying to keep up with the reading. I too am praying for everyone wilth their battle and their procedures coming!

I had the theraspheres a month ago and I go for a PET today and a CT tomorrow. I am praying for good news. I have a appointment with Dr Curley on the 10th for resection consult. (that is if PET comes out ok today). I am a nervous wreck, but the general public just doesn't undersdtand that really, Not even family. They dont know the feeling of anticipation of these scans. I am anxious to see how it goes with Patti with the SIr Speres too.
I had some effects from it like severe reflux, and gall bladder attack, but if it worked it was worth it!!

I am just trying to keep positive thoughts!! I think that helps!

Chasing the "clouds of doubt" away from you as you await your scan results - very anxious. It's hard to get people to understand what you are feeling - it's just beyond the realm of everyday people's thoughts - it was mine, I empathized, but had no understanding until I stood in the line of fire.

But you've got us and we understand and that's alot right there. To everyone, just nod and smile :)

    Hey, I have been wondering
Hey, I have been wondering how you were doing. I will be having the procedure on Wed. I will pray for great scans for you, I just know they will be good, they just have to be. I have heard that they are not always great news with the earlier scans and that it could take as long as three months before you see results. I have been on another board that is all about liver directed therapies, and so many people have had excellent results from the little magic beads. Let us know, Patti

My prayers and best wishes are certainly there for you. Just went through the exact anxiety attacks concerning those scans this past weekend. Everything turned out very good. I pray the same for you as well. Please keep the faith!!

Hey Joanne, I will see if
Hey Joanne, I will see if the person that invited me into the group will post a link to join. It is basically people that have had or going to have liver directed therapies....Sir Spheres, RFA, etc. Most of the people so far that I have met have had the Sir Spheres with great success. If this is something your interested in let me know. Patti

I would also be interested but we may be in a different boat with also having lung mets. I have been looking for a liver board for therapies but have not had much luck. Tina

    therasheres
    Patti,
They did the right lobe and they think that both mets are in the right. They will check to see if the one bridges over to the left or not, they think not but maybe, if so they would do the left. I hope all goes well with yours today, you will be in our thoughts. I would be interested in the site you were referring to earlier about liver directed treatments too. Good Luck!!!

    Glad it went so well
My sister was denied twice by her insurance for this procedure. Now though, she is on for liver surgery next week. This is HUGE for her as her scans also showed peritoneal "uptake". For most, that has been a deal breaker in getting liver surgery. Praying for you!
