It just dawned on me, I only have 2 Chemo Tratments left now. I actually made it past the half way point.

    so the finish line is coming up in sight for your chemo ride. Congratulations for hanging in there given all your struggles with the side effects.     Had 4th Yesterday
    Struggling today. Trying to drink as much as I can. No appetite. No strength. Just resting. Very nauseated, taking Zofrzn every 8 hrs. No "Big D" yet usually by day 4. Hopefully I won't get it this time. Need lots of prayers and hugs.

    Thanks for all the hugs and prayers. I got ever one of them.

    I am better today. Still nauseated but "Big D" is okay. My heart seems to be beating fast all the time and I have a little cough, don't know if it is a side effect of the chemo or not. Will have to mention it to my onc. Has anyone ever had that as a side effect?

    Cleaning for a Reason wanted to come and clean my house again today. Not sure if I am up to it.

    Yes, I've been having a cough for about the last week and a half after my second chemo (I'm doing Taxotere and Cytoxan). I spoke to my Dr.'s office and they said that it was probably an irritation of my existing post-nasal drip. They gave me some cough syrup with codeine so that I can sleep at night.

    If your cough persists, please call your onco and ask what can be done to help you. It's important to be able to get your rest, and coughing all the time can keep you from getting as much sleep as you need.

    Hope you're feeling better today, Donna. Have you tried Compazine for nausea? My doctor gave me that in case the Emend and Zofran didn't work. I did have some breakthrough nausea but not enough to take the Compazine. Anyway, hope all is well today. The countdown has started!
