To all:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all on the CSN.
I had prostate cancer surgery October 21st, 2009. I recently had my first post-op PSA, it came back at <0.10, I'm told this is virtually undetectable and where we need to be at this point. Many thanks to the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center and Dr. Alon Weizer and his team.
I'm happy for your PSA result, mjbruce, but my UVA team doesn't think "<.010" is "undetectable." I had my prostate out in January and my PSAs since then have ranged between 0.07 and 0.09 (latest one 0.08). I'm not being told to relax, but rather to have salvage radiation (since my PSA is above absolute zero).
