Hello Everyone here,
Thanks to all of you for your many many prayers!! We had a great day yesterday. The sun was shining, we got a great parking spot at the hospital, dad got called back right away, the nurses were great, dad's iv went in easily without any problems, and his procedure went well!!
Dr who did scope did say that it was very tight, and hard to get through, made a few cuts, inserted the balloon, made the dilation, but wants dad back in 2 weeks to have another dilation done. The best thing she told us was.....she did not see any cancer there!! Hooray! I made her repeat that to my dad twice, just to make sure, if he did not hear her the first time!
We are thrilled, to say the least. Thank you all again for your concern, thoughts, support, and of course your prayers!! Keep those prayers coming, and I will update you after the next dilation and p e t scan. They will both be being done on Dec 21st.
Sincerely,
Tina
