I am a 9 year survivor of ALL and a mediatstinal T-cell lymphoma. My pulmonologist recoomended that I get an upper GI this week suspecting that I had reflux causing a chronic cough. I currently suffer from numerous effects of the treatments (chemo, pomp and radiation) including a cardiomyopathy, asthma, hypothyroidism and pulmonary fibrosis. The upper GI showed I do have reflux as well as parasthesia of the esophagus and I now have to go see an gastro. I am concerned of the worst. I was just wondering if anyone else with this protocol has been afflicted with this esophagus diagnosis. I have no symptoms of any gi upsets. I do however have the occasional night sweats and am more fatigued then normal. |
