Hi Kate - Nice to see you and meet you. What a lovely smile.... you are one tough lady. I'll be thinking of you as you start your chemo on Monday.. may it destroy all those cancer cells.
Aloha,
kathleen
I had to figure out the photo thing too. It is only hair mine got really thin when I was doing all the regular chemo. The phase 1 trail I'm in now doesn't seem to affect my hair. You look good in your picture. I'll pray that your chemo works. You have a very good Thanksgiving and enjoy all the great food.

Your a very cute young lady. And if you go bald well you will still be cute in my eyes.
Good luck on your juorney and remember we are always here for you.

Just happy to be here!!
You are absolutely lovely looking! very pretty! and though I lost alot of hair on Folfiri, I didn't go bald! By my 7th treatment, it had pretty much stopped falling out, and I had my daughter cut my hair to my shoulders, and it's now growing back in all spikey kind of, with a few grays! LOL! But, I don't think you'll go bald! even if you do, we'll still love you, and you will be absolutely beautiful!
HEY,JEFF!
You just made my day, what a compliment 'cause I'm not that young.
while I'm not 58,I'm close, but 58 rhymed.

I am a newbie to the site (just a couple of hours) and I already feel that I have found a new family. Kate, what a lovely picture. I had already seen your picture on several other subject posts as I "surfed" around the site. That was my first impression from your lovely smile, "perky". Good luck as your treatments start. May your optimistic attitude serve you well. There is so much good advice and support here. Glad to have joined such an uplifting and sincere group of folks on this journey.

You are so perky.....I LOVE the pic!!!
And, you will STILL be perky, I trust, if you lose your hair....
