They are recommending my dad get a stent put in the esophagus to open the narrowing. Has anyone else had one put in? How did it go??

Thanks
Erika

    YES
    Hi E,

Al had one the entire time he was having chemo. The took it out during his surgery along with the CANCER. It may take him a little while to get used to it. It what kept Al from not needing a feeding tube until he had his surgery. I think that WildGoose has one also.

It's a good thing you want your Dad to be able to eat. He may have to be on a soft food diet. I'm sure you Mom is used to that from chemo.

They put in with and endoscope. He will be asleep for the proceedure.
E-Mail me if you have anymor questions. I will be glad to help.

    God Bless!!
