Back in August I was diagnosed with stage 2 seminoma. Since then Ive gone thru several scans and biopsy's of my lymphnodes. They don't see any spread (thats the good news) but instead of radiation they want me to do 2 high dose infusions of carboplatin. 1 on the 31st (this friday) and another on the day after thanksgiving. I'm all good with this but is there anyone out there that's had this type of chemo before for TC? And if so how bad were the side effects?

Have you gone and seen someone considered an expert in treating testicular cancer? I'm just wondering why they or you are considering the chemo instead of radiation.
