care to share your story with insurance company interactions with stomach and peritoneum cancer treatment? we're in a big appeal for insurance and benefits coverage for both in network (dr) and out of network (facility) care but the insurance company is saying the expert surgical oncologist recommended treatment is experimental. similar experiences? thanx |

Dom,
We are facing the same situation with my brother and his future cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC which the insurance company is indicating they will not cover. He has Optima insurance. Did you make any progress or do you have any suggestions for us in how to fight this?
