I've been watching and waiting and praying as well! Her surgery was scheduled for 9/29 and I don't believe she's posted since then.(
Love,
Judy
Praying daily that no news from her is good news.....
Does anyone know where she ended up having her surgery?
Thanks!

My guess is that she went to a Ft Worth since that is where her husband wanted her to go. I don't know which hospital Texas Oncology uses for surgery there. I did stay 8 days in Baylor and was out of it all of that time on morphine. My husband posted on this site during that time for me. Hopefully we will hear from her soon. How are you doing Michelle? Funny you should mention being out of it in the hospital, I keep piecing together tidbits of those first couple of days-it was like a dream world. (A bad dream.)
I am okay, thanks for asking....starting to get out a little bit. But the task of having to explain the diagnosis I have to people is exhausting! More so than the actual physical exertion of getting up and going.
I am still amazed at all of you women here with your amazing stories of heroism and your ability and willingness to encourage and support others.
It is inspiring to say the least.
I just read a book that talked about the idea of falling toward or forward, so that is what I am striving for...falling forward.
Hope that you are doing well-
