Well the last two days after I coughed there was nothing (no blood) in the saliva but I did go to the scheduled appointment with my oncologist this morning. She said that my counts were really low and this could be due to the low platelet count and diminished immune system since the blood is really thin right now. She really wasn't concerned at all which made me feel so much better. Thank you all for your concern and prayers. Hugs! Kim |

Hey, Kim.
Somehow I missed your first post about this. I'm glad it's okay! You're too sweet to have troubles.

YEAH!!!
Hey Kim,
So glad all is well. I'm happy you were able to see your doctor and get the good news. When it happened to me I called the chemo advise nurse right away (it scared me). Felt so much better after I talked with her. Glad you had it checked out.

So glad
Kim,
I'm so glad to hear that your doc is not concerned. As you get farther from chemo I'm sure your counts will improve.
Aloha,
Kathleen
