I would like to invite all So. California sisters in PINK, to the 11th annual walk for HEALTH .. Sept. 26th - Promendade shops @ Dos Lagos - Corona, CA. It would be my honor and privilege to meet each of you women who has made such an impact in my life, and supported me thru my journey with breast cancer.

I am humbled by your advise, courage and support made possible by your postings on our ACS boards .. I would like to give something back .. I can take a short walk .. laugh, cry, pray, hug or share a bottle of water. I am a hugger, so be prepared .. you may be receiving a hug or two.

This invitation was made by Karaokelorie, so now I am just sending it forward.

    Hi, Vicki -
    I'm just not up to straying that far from home at this point during chemo -- the furthest I go on weekends is to the grocery store -- and, if I'm feeling adventurous, the movie theater across the street! :-) Fatigue is starting to get worse for me, and I really need to conserve my energy to keep working.

    Once I'm done with chemo and radiation, I'm definitely planning to start getting involved with some fundraising/awareness events -- but, for now, I just have to focus on me.

    I hope you have fun -- be sure to report back to us who all of you end up getting together and raising he**! :-)

    I am So Cal too Vicki
    but don't feel bad about leaving me out. I have been a bit MIA on the boards since I went back to work after surgery. Still recovering and working part time.

    We will be in Mariposa that weekend, but will be sending all my encouragement to all who attend.

    It sounds like so much fun, but I'll be doing a river bed clean up project with my job at one of the local lakes here in San Diego. It's only a 2 hour event but about all I can handle right now. Please keep me posted on any other events because I'd love to meet up someday. It would be great to put faces to names!
