You asked about my second dilation treatment. Well, I finally had it yesterday (Wednesday). The dilation was a breeze - I take the Versad/Fentanyl combo and it works like a charm for me. But the results were mixed. Yes, he was able to dilate the area more, which helps a lot. But they also have determined that the radiation left me with severe colon damage and I now have colitis. That, coupled with the osteoarthritis in my hips also caused by radiation, makes my recovery less than I hoped for. If it ain't one thing....
But I am not complaining. I am ALIVE and that is the key.
How are you doing? Vicki
