Not wasting any time that
So… how am I feeling… well… let’s see…with my fingers…lol… no at this point I don’t think there is anything more they can throw at me that can make me any crazier than they have made me already! I even think I’m developing a twitch… well at least Dennis (my hubby) thinks it’s cute… ;-)
Personally I am beginning to think that the medical staff thinks I’m a cutie and just want to see me more…. So they are looking for reasons to call me back… yeah that’s it… we’ll it’s what I’m going to go with for now anyway… and if my results come back negative it will just confirm my suspicion…
So my wonderful warrion family…. How long does it take to get the results after one of these… I am hoping that they will be back by Wednesday when I meet with my onco for the final drum roll…. I have never enjoyed sticking my toe in the water… prolonging the agony… I have always been one to just jump right in and sink or swim…
So… let’s get on with the swimming already!

You didn't say what day for the biopsy. Monday? I would think that they could have the results by Wednesday. I hope so.
I like your idea that they just think you are a cutie. They are right. ANd it's your story, stick to it. HOpe they find nothing.
I agree, the waiting and going into the water a tippy toe at a time is the worst. Just put me on the high dive and no turning back. Because when we are taking action and doing something, we know we are fighting this. And that's what we want to do, get on with the fight. We are all warmed up and ready to start the game.
Prayers and good thoughts that you will have your game plan soon cause we know you got your game face on. No more set backs.

I think you will have the results by Wednesday. I had mine within 48 hours. That is something that is read that day and the stained ones the next day. Hang in there and know that you are getting closer even if it is at a snails pace.

Pammy... snails pace??? Surely you jest, I really think a snail or even a slug moves faster than this... heck... I could have walked back and forth to WA several times by now...
Stef... the biopsy is because the MRI showed residual multifoci.. (left over cancer spots with one measured at 1.4 cm)... oh the joys of technology!!

Hi, T, after my biopsy, I
Hi, T, after my biopsy, I was told I'd be notified within 2-3 business days. I immediately called my PCP. She said she'd get the results sooner and would call me herself. And she did: she had the results and called me the day after, that is Tuesday, after my biopsy on Monday. So, you might check with your PCP.
I do have to say my PCP is a wonderful physician and human being. Dr. Kim has been my doctor for almost 11 years now. I love her and do trust her with my life. Even if you are not that close to your PCP, you might ask if he/she will get the results first.
And, you are cute, you know, though I can't see the twitch from your photo. You do look young to have that adorable grandchild. You must have been a childbride, like Cat.0 -

OMG, I just had a terrible thought! I just read your post 3x's and realized what you said! What if they missed some cancer I don't know about? Like I haven't had anything done since the surgery to "look" to see if they got it all that I know of. I mean they were looking at one particular spot, but what if they missed something? They drained a cyst to do my biopsy because it was in the way, but that was after my Breast MRI, so it may be possible that there was something the cyst was covering up! OK, maybe I shouldn't have had that extra cup of coffee after dinner tonight!-) Pammy 0 -

My needle biopsy was on a friday afternoon and I had the results by monday afternoon (even though it was a holiday). So you shouldn't have to wait too long. I will be thinking of you Monday at 10am, I will also be at the doc, my GP, to get blood, ekg and x-ray for surgery, which they have now pushed up to the 13th!.
So, have a relaxing, fun filled weekend, and worry about tomorrow the day after.

Meanwhile, I am sending my very best vibes and thoughts your way. I will most certainly keep you in my prayers!
But you know that no matter what the results are, you are a very strong and wonderful person and all of us here will be with you every step of the way...good news or not so good news.

My biopsy will take place at the cancer center right across the hall from my onco's office, so if it only takes a day then they should be there Wednesday!!! YEA~~!!! I will probably be the only one who will want to throw a party to celebrate beginning treatment.... OMG what is my life turning into... maybe I need to have my head examined here soon... that's pretty pathetic... lol
Moopy.. I saw that you too had another curve ball thrown at you... almost done... continue making wishes!! This will be over quick..then back home you'll go...with your four legged kiddo's in tow!
Cat... I will be thinking of you Thursday... hopeing that this weekend your out to have some fun!
