Hey tash, or anyone who may be familiar....have you ever been to Niagara On The Lake?

My daughter and a friend of hers from work are talking about going & she asked me if I have ever been there. I have not, even though we aren't very far from there.
I told her that I had heard that there are a lot of little shops, but that's really the extent of what I know.

Do you have any info. on what is there?

Thanks!

    CR, I haven't been to

CR, I haven't been to Niagara on the Lake for several years, but I really enjoyed it when we went. It has a lot of shops, some historical areas, and it's also home to the Shaw Festival. It's also just a nice drive: when you're entering Niagara on the Lake, it feels like you're in a foreign (Eurpoean) country. I would recommend it.

    Here's a website about it: http://www.niagaraonthelake.com/

I have been several times, it's lovely. Loads of quaint little shops and like Joyce mentioned it feels like an old english colonial town. Lots of people visit is just for the Christmas Shop, it's amazing.

If you decide to go there give me a shout, we'll DO coffee (well tea for me LOL) It's only about 20 mins from where I am.

    Oh Thanks!!
It sounds lovely there, and I had no idea what to tell my daughter. I think she will enjoy her visit! Especially the shops!

Tasha, if I ever plan to go there, I will let you know! I would love to have coffee/tea with you!

Thanks for the website Joyce, I will send it to her.

    Hi Ladybug.
Catalpa Bignonioides (Indian bean tree) Is best planted late spring to early summer so you are OK right now....

Beautiful trees. They are very tolerant of everything even heavy clay soils. They don't like Alcaline much.

    Hope this helps........Get Digging Gal!
