Lung Op
So you've been through it before, me too. I don't seem to remember many of the good parts unless that was the nurses or the ice cream. Now that I think of it, maybe it was getting those nodes out of there. I hope your recovery is fast and you're up doing your mile+ every day. That's what they have us doing over at Sloan. No rest for the weary but the faster you're up and about, the faster you are out.
Hang in there, you've done it before and you can do it again.
Keep us posted as best you can Chip

facilitator asks us to imagine ourselves before we had cancer,
when we were well, when was it, how we felt, how we looked.
I find that image, if I keep it for a while, gives me a source of
comfort and strength. There was a well me once and it feels good
to think about that and gives me a positive focus.

Prayers and hugs
Chip,
We will be thinking of you. Many prayers and good thoughts coming your way.
BTW, back in 1981 (the dark ages!) they saved my life at Stanford. I had a viral meningitis attack (had mumps at 31!) and was actually declared, but they brought me back. Always been my favorite hospital!
Here's hoping for NED for you. Vicki -

Prayers
Chip,
I will be praying hard for you that surgery goes well and for a quick recovery. As a fellow Stage iv, I'll be praying hard for NED to be your partner again soon. Keep us posted and know that you have a prayer army fighting for you. When I was first dx'd, some friends from a different church added me to their prayer list. They have a group called "prayer warriors" who pray for everyone on their list. From everyone's posts, you have a group of prayer warriors fighting for you here.
