I am a F.A.P. baby ( 40 now). I want to write my story the good and the bad, and I am ALIVE! Thanks to GOD, LOVING FAMILY, FRIENDS AND ALL THE PRAYERS, no matter how small help. I am new to the group and want to talk to people going through this awful disease. GOD BLESS! |

I have started writing.
I am no author but, I am going to give it a try. It is not all good. My husband has cheated but I stayed. I love him and he is just different. I will talk to you more about that if you want. I don't know if I'll put all the bull he has done to me. I am safe no physical abuse.
GOD BLESS!
and hopefully you be reading about my Cancer journey.

THANK YOU FOR THE COMMENT
I just wanted to know if there was anyone here to discuss problems with. I live in Shelby North Carolina, and they have no groups for Colon Cancer. They wanted me to go to Breast Cancer Group, but how will it help me. I have an ileostomy and over half the people around here think I an joking.
GOD BLESS!!

Have you tried the chat room? It is an ecclectic group: different canzers, all over the world, different relationship issues..you name it. I find them fun, funny and very, very helpful.
For ostomy help I recommend: www.uoaa.org Many young people that have or are living with all different ostomies. They were my lifeline for many months.
And, of course, good luck with the book!

Hi,
Welcome! God is faithful and in control. I'd love to hear your story. I'm not much older than you- 42. There are actually quite a few people on this board with rectal or colon cancer who are younger than us. It does seem to be hitting a lot of younger people recently.
What does F.A.P. baby stand for or mean?
Blessings,

Thank You I really need friends that know how it feels!
I was Saved on October 25,2004, we have joined a church and GOD is my light. Just like my MOM and my mother(in north carolina). She was here before my Mom passed. And she said she was my second MOM. We lost her February 4.2009. It is just hard for my to make friends. I live in North Carolina and my family is in Ohio.
I have to stay stronge or it we get me again. It has been a rough 4 years. My marriage has been so rocky, but I have to care about me.
GOD BLESS!

Not a good idea...
It's a GREAT idea!
I'm a person living with cancer for the past 5 years. I don't care for the term "survivor", it doesn't describe me I feel but I know others use it and it's great. Whatever works for you is how I feel about cancer. I'd love to hear about your journey.

Hi, I would love to read
Hi,
I would love to read your story. I too am new here and really have been made to feel so welcome in the last couple of days. My son came in and even caught me doing what my kids call... my silly grinning at the monitor. Something he said he hadn't seen me do in a couple of months.
Even though the reasoning for us all being here is not a happy one...ALL of you have lifted my spirits more then I could ever thank you for!!!

like it's a real being or something is just part of our lives! I find myself laughing out loud quite often, but luckily it's just this chick so I don't have to explain to anyone! :) I am so glad that you find comfort and something to smile about by visiting this board, i know it helps me a great deal to feel connected to so MANY others in such similar shoes!
p.s. i love your avatar!
