Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! When I read what you've gone through I truly feel I'm not alone and my side effects are "normal" not severe. I had a treatment Tuesday, pump removed Thursday morning and literally slept all day Thursday until noon on Friday. (I woke up twice thirsty) So far, the side effects I had after the first treatment are not here this time. (At least so far) I hope and pray all of you are doing well and again, thank you.

    Hi Jenben,
Glad to hear your side effects are not bad! Sleeping can get tiresome (LOL!), but that's part of it. By the way, I find when I up my "green" intake, it does help me to not feel so sluggish and tired (I'm referring to the grogginess that persists beyond the first 2-3 postchemo treatment days). Last week, I found myself taking 3 hour naps 4 times in the week. I then realized that I had forgotten to consume more greens (I also use Vitamineral Greens powder- it's pretty yucky, but does help! It's more tolerable, I've discovered, when mixed with grape or crangrape juice rather than just with water). I don't believe it's considered as a "supplement" because it's whole food.
    God bless-

    greens powder
is good mixed with apple juice as well! I didn't think to use it for energy during chemo, though!
