I finished my chemo today!! CA-125 from last week was 6 and a CT scan is scheduled for January. Got a statin prescription from my internist after I gave him some info from my research on their anti-cancer properties. I loved the price - $10 for a hundred tablets. My oncologist and I discussed using anti-estrogen therapy but she wants me to wait to see if there is a clinical trial with some form of consolidation immunotherapy. She pointed out that I might be disqualified if I started this other regimen right away. I did try to get in UCSF to get some ideas but they are not taking any 2nd opinion consultations at this time. Am still looking for a clinical trial that is open for consolidation therapy - if you hear of one, let me know.

In the meantime I am going to celebrate and rejoice in the day. Six months ago I was severely ill and had massive ascites. I truly didn't know if I would even survive for a couple of months. I'm now back at work part time and life is good. I have had many people praying for me and my place of work was absolutely wonderful about my six months off.
