Hi everyone,

I am going for my 1st follow up after my ileostomy reversal (stage 3 colon cancer). Any suggestions on questions I should be asking? I'd really appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Pearl

Hello! I am still dealing with treatments and ileostomy woes, but i thought i would answer your post because i was told that i would get a colonoscopy six months after treatments ended. If you don't know what they plan on doing to you now, i would get a time span of exactly what they're going to do now to keep an eye on you. If you have adenocarcinoma, it tends to be a slow grower, but has a high incidence of recurrence. I'm going to want to get tested often after reversal.

    Hope this helps!
    Many hugs,
    Krista
