What stage colon cancer do you have and how many chemo and radiation treatments are you expected to, or did you, go through?

This is the 2nd time we have done colon cancer chemo. He had stage 3 and 5 fu the 1st time. We are in the middle of the 2nd round of Camptsor and Xeloda. The cancer came back in one lymph node and was removed. If we could just get rid of the cramps and diarrhea I think we could get thru this. Thanks Mary B.

Stage III Rectal cancer, 28 radiation sessions with 24 hour 5-FU pump. 8 weeks to heal then bowel resection. After surgery I had 8 more rounds of FOLFOX and Avastin (every other week)

Stage 3 colo-rectal cancer. I've had 4 rounds of 5FU with Oxi & Leucovorin (sp?), I'm in the middle of radiation treatments now (30 scheduled) while wearing the 5FU pump 24/7 and when I'm done with this I have 8 more treatments of the chemo cocktail mentioned above. Fun eh?
