I just read this very disturbing article which made me start thinking again about the "cause" of cancer. Especially with all of the young follks here that were diagnosed well before the age of 50 (myself included). Until we start taking environmental health seriously as a nation and globally, how can we ever hope to stem the tide of these unnecessary illnesses?

Last week I read a 2007 book called "The Secret History of the War on Cancer" by Devra Davis, PhD. Disturbing is the word that I would use to describe the book. It talks about how the war on cancer has concentrated on detecting and treating cancer and that the causes of cancer were overlooked and suppressed by industry leaders whose economic interests were in direct contrast with preventing cancer. This book infuriated me! I agree with everything you said and I urge you to read the book.
