I was diagnosed with hodgkins in 1991 and received radiation in my neck and chest. Six months ago I lost my hearing in one of my ears. My oncologist believes it is a result from the treatment. Has anyone else lost hearing from radiation treatment? Thanks.

    Hi Cassmike,
I also was diagnosed in 1991 with hodgkins..I was 11 years old. I had radiation as well to my neck and chest.... I have not experienced any problems but I'm curious to see what your doctor said. Is it common? What causes the hearing loss? Any other information you can give me would be great.
