Colon Palooza 5

I just want to say thank you to all who are attending Colon Palooza 5 this year. I look forward to seeing those of you I already know, and those of you who I will be meeting for the first time. We will really miss those of you who cannot make it. I'm sure we'll have a video of the event available on youtube.com as always!
I have an itinerary in place, and will give everyone copies at the hotel. Those of you arriving on Wednesday, we will be meeting in the bar of the hotel around 7 PM. I will be making it to Nashville by 3 in the afternoon (I'm driving, not flying, to take all of the treats I've put together for everyone), so if you are at the hotel around that time, leave me a message at the front desk, and we can hang out prior to the meeting in the bar @ 7 PM.
I have SO much planned for everyone. Keep in mind, in addition to a full-blown celebration of life, this is also a long-overdue vacation for many of us. So we will not, repeat NOT, get up at sunrise on any given day. Each day, we'll plan on meeting around 10-10:30 each morning in the hotel lobby, and heading out from there.
Any questions can be e-mailed to me through this site up to 7 AM CST on Wednesday.
Have a safe trip everyone, and be sure to prepare yourself for a great couple of days!
Hugs,
Stacy

Saw the itinerary... Just one question... why all Irish Bars? Why not a good Scandanavian Bar? Katie and I feel like totally discriminated against... and do you REALLY think "Limey" would be caught dead in an Irish pub?
I am - once again - shocked and deeply hurt by your insensitivity, Stacy. I think you will owe me a Guiness for the pain you have caused. -
I will set us up for every type of bar under the sun....with the exception of Russian! lolspongebob said:Saw the itinerary... Just one question... why all Irish Bars? Why not a good Scandanavian Bar? (no, I couldn't resist!)
And I'm pretty confident Katie will have no problem hanging with the Irish!
See you both Wednesday!

Hey Stacy,
Everything sounds wonderful! I am back from my annual family beach week (we left the Outer Banks just as the storm was coming in Saturday) and am now changing hats and washing clothes to get ready for Nashville.
I'm with Sue, I am NOT going to bring my naked happy dance since it is reserved for wonderful rains in my yard and where I live along with Nashville are in serious drought conditions.
I'm also with you Stacy and have no interest in eating Russian food while in the south where we have to have b-b-q and other fine southern cuisine like fried okra, grits, and remember THE Jack Daniels distilery is just down the road a piece.
Everyone have a safe trip and get ready to laugh, laugh, and then laugh some more!!!!

Sponge, did you not know my mother is a Leprechan? Mom born and reared in Limerick, went to England with her two sisters and a friend to earn money to move to Canada to marry rich Canadians. all did except my mom, Yup half Limey and half Pub dancer. To think I was probably one dance from becoming a Cannock.
