Has anyone experienced rectal spasms with pelvic radiation treatments? I have been in so much pain over the weekend that I called and cancelled treatment for today (Monday), nurse called in some antispasmodic meds. Thanks for any comments.

I had some when I had radiation. The main problem I had was a continual burning after about the 3rd week. I did get some pain pills which helped. Thankfully it will go away. Be sure to mention it to the radiation oncology doctor/nurse. They can reassess the dose etc.
