Brachytherapy

I had the Brachytherapy Implants in March. I am not doing so well, and this is sure not what I expected. Has anyone had this and did you have anal pain daily? Doctor now tells me this is part of the recovery for some five percent. How long will this daily pain go on. If any of you guys have had these implants. I sure would appreciate any information on what to expect. Thanks haytime

    Sorry to hear of your pain following the treatment. I had an RP so can't connect with your pain. However, if you type "Brachytherapy" in the search box above, you should get some responses.

    I had RP but I considered Seeded Rad. I was told the radiation could possibly affect the bowel area. Hope everything works out for you.
