Hello all, I have been seriously thinking about starting a Non Profit Org and was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this? I would love to pick someones brain about it. Thanks everyone!!

    No experience here...but, there are many...including the ACS (believe it or not....). I googled non profit business...and got a HUGE list!

    I retired from IRS earlier this year after 27 years. Non-profits were not my area of expertise, but a good starting point would be to obtain info from IRS about tax-exempt organizations. Go to www.irs.gov and then download Publication 557, Tax Exempt Status for Your Organization. Hope this helps. Joy

    are you thinking of a food coop, or something mor e ambitious? If it's food, the Adventests do a lot of that..
