Thank you for the enormous contribution you have made to this forum over the past five years. Everyone always looks forward to your support, humour and friendship. We'll celebrate in Halifax next week big time at CP4 ~ I'll book us today on the Tall Ship Silva for " Happy Hour " for next Friday afternoon. Cheers & Beers With lot's of love , Lisa Rose PS we still need to go for that drive in a cute little convertible . . . . StacyGleaso We have all seen every part of this monster called cancer. What we gain from this site is the chance to see the HUMAN side of cancer. Cancer in itself is a bad word. It brings tears, anger and fear. Cancer on this site is more than that. It is hope, support, friendship, love, power and laughter. It weeds out the insignificant parts of our lives and shows us the beauty and importance in the simple basic things that life has to offer to us. This next part will sound really bizarre.... I am glad I got cancer. Stupid, eh? Well, how else would have I gotten to meet all of you (when I say meet, I mean both virtually and realistically, of course!)?!?!? How else could we experience a "Lisa Sandwich," meet Texans who ooze with kindness and hospitality, see SpongeBob in leather, hear about Kathi's naked dance sessions, hold hands with those grieving, or raise glasses with the best of the best? How else would I have gotten the chance to meet judiths and SpongeBob on the Sharon Osbourne show (notice that show got canceled, guys?) How else would I have learned about the importance of juicing, kissing my kids daily, and planning wonderful Palooza trips? How else would I have gotten the chance to meet Greta, Dana & Jose from the CSN site? How on earth would I have learned how to live???????????? So, rather than praise me, I praise ALL OF YOU! You guys are the coolest, funniest, warmest group of people I know, and for that I am ever-thankful! Bottoms up! (yeah, pun intended, of course!) Stacy lizzybirdy I WANT TO SEND MY CONGRADULATIONS TO A FABULOUS TEAM PLAYER! YOU ARE ALWAYS INSPIRING & UPLIFTING & I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR THE WAY YOU REACHED OUT TO MARIE, MY SISTER IN LAW. I AM SO ELATED FOR YOU ,STACY. BLESSINGS, LIZ HICKS Kanort Love, Kay nudgie ruggersocks Hugs, Cheryl eleonora1 moesimo What a great milesone. We all want to be 5 years and cured. Stacy, You are an ispiration to all the survivors. Maureen 2bhealed Hey girl! Congratulations on your 5 year! We are the "old folk" around here, huh? I'm envious about your trip to Halifax. I know you guys will have one rip-roaring time. dang. I go for my 5 year colonoscopy in November (it's taken this long to get my local surgeon to believe ME that I NEED to get a scope (I would go to Mayo to my regular onc but don't have the $$ this year). So when that's over I will feel better about claiming my FIVE YEAR CANCER FREE status!!! Doesn't that ROCK?? I give a toast to you and raise my carrot juice in celebration! peace, emily who remembers stacy as an incredibly sweet person from the get-go (back in the chatroom days)!! :-) Cheer3 Blessings to you, Jean Susanbm Susan ron50 StacyGleaso Stacy HowardJ Sorry I wasn't able to reply to the original message. Well done Lisa rose. Stacy, it must be one of the most beautiful things in the world to look back over five years and say "nanananana" to cancer. Best wishes for the future.
