Haven't heard from you lately and I knew it should be time for you to start working with your Doctors on surgery. Just wanted to you know we are thinking about you.

Take care... God Bless.

Susan

I'm doing a he-- of a lot bettr since my first post.My surgeon stayed in touch with my GYN just before he left and my Gyn called me twice, just to make sure I was OK and reassure me that we really did to everythng right and if I wasn't moving, he would't have ordered the MRI and just let it go until my regular mamogram in October( he was that sure it was nothing).
In a nutshell-- I've bee working on all the pre-op tests so they're ready for my Dr to see when he gets back tomorrow.( still have no info on stage, type, etc)) I've met with the plastic surgeon twice -- he's been great-- and we even have a plan that since we'll be doing a FLAP reconstruct, he can be my Dr through it all because coming back to NJ for the 3 month follow ups is no problem. The office staffs set the surgery for Sept 27 ( the day the movers come) but we've even got that kind of under control.
My plastic surgeon is going to talk to the surgeon and see if they can't juggle their individual schedules so they could move it up a week. That way I can do some of the early recovery in my old home before going to my sister's until I can travel. Hubby's oncologist in NY is looking to recommend one in Columbia to handle the Chemo.
You just feel so much better when you have a game plan for the fight.
My sister surprised me after she saw the pictures of the house we bought in SC by saying " God would have never led you to that house, if He didn't want to you live in it"
Next appointment-- the surgeon on the 11th. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for you all then
Grateful for your help & support.
