Hi Everyone..even tho we got good news last week from CT my husband was delayed with low platelets and much to our surprise was delayed AGAIN this week which makes it 2 weeks in a row...has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions on what could help boost his platelets (his white cells are fine) Thanks for your help.

    Hi Bev,

    I had the same problem when on chemo. Unfortunately the onc said there is nothing they can do to boost the platelets unless they give your hubby blood. Have him think of this as a short break to build up his immune system before starting chemo again. I know that I started to feel almost normal on my one break. Good luck and keep us posted. HUGS.
