Emily, that site is a great resource. If I could find a legit clinic where they practice ozone therapy, I'd have Mark on a plane fast. I've read some amazing things about how it has helped HIV and cancer patients. Of course, it is not legal in this country and finding sources on the internet have not been easy. I saw on your list a clinic in Nevada that uses Ozone. Don't know how they can get away with this but I'll call them. I'm interested in the IV version, works much like dialysis.

The site mentions Dr. Warner, a man in Seattle that was run out of town and had his license taken away for putting many cancer patients in remission with his natural treatments. A great book that delves into the cancer business is "Reclaiming Our Health" by John Robbins. Robbins is/was the heir of the Baskins Robbins fortune, turned his back on the money and has devoted his life to being an activist. This is a brave man, hated by many (including his own father) for telling the truth about food production and the medical business. His first book was nominated for a Pulitzer.

Thanks for the goldmine of info.

Emily - this is an interesting site and I will definitely spend time reading things here.

That said - we need all viewpoints here, right? - I cannot help but be somewhat skeptical. Maybe it is just because I am in the computer business, but when I see flashy fonts and claims that a certain diet kills cancer cells, but only if you don't deviate from it even slightly, I can't help but have the engineer inside of me question what is going on.

So, I remain open minded and will be delving further into this - and I appreciate the reference. I fell in love with Quillen's book, but became a bit turned off when I saw his multiple web sites under different names all selling the same products, products that only he sells. Some of the stuff on this web site at first glance looks less commercial and therefore possibly more believable.

So, thanks. I want to do everything I can to prevent a recurrence, so I am open to all possibilities and will look into some of these things more. One thing I often find is that all Internet references to a particular anti-cancer regimen turn out to all be advertisements - I know people have to make $$$ but it also raises a tiny red flag when all I can find are ads.

I hope you understand. I really appreciate the site reference and will look at it much more with a skeptical, but very open mind.

Thanks, Emily. I think you have probably saved lives here and that is pretty cool.

Betsy, I had that same reaction to Quillin - $100 for his main product. Supplements to me are just another big business - I'm going to get in trouble for saying that but I'm a suspicious gal. I became more suspicious after talking about this with Ruth Heidrich, the breast cancer survivor/athlete/now vegan. She takes NO supplements (including calcium), is 70 years old and in amazing shape. I found that hard to believe when I first heard her say it but after talking with her it makes sense. She gets all the nutrients and minerals from her food, something we've all been led to believe for some reason is unobtainable.

    T. Colin Campbell is one of the few people I trust when it comes to nutrition. He discusses at length in his book "China Study" how the tiniest bit of animal protein (casien) can get cancer growing and how taking it away immediately starts the healing. This is hard to swallow since, again, we've been taught to believe that milk, cheese, chicken, fish and meat are "total" foods with the perfect amount of protein, etc. This book was life changing for me and taught me a lot about how determined the food industries are about duping American's into buying their products.
