It seems I get to have one of these soon. My question to the experienced is this: Do I have to confess my supplement habit before the procedure?

Thanks for any advice.

Hugs.

Once you get done drinking their cocktail you will have nothing left in you to tell anyone about! I see now reason to. Linda

The only thing I would mention, Lesley, is Vitamin E, and anything that messes with the blood...BUT the way around a 'TRUE CONFESSION' is to ask the doc "WHAT should I NOT take just before this test?" They will usually answer, without you having to divulge.
Hugs to you, and thanks for the comment about my bravery...although I whine alot, too (ask my beau...hehehe!)

That is great advice. Thank you. I am so embarrassed to confess them all. I went for a physical and they asked what drugs I took. There was a huge space for prescription drugs, but all I had to put there was Tamoxifen. Then under the supplement section there was only 4 spaces, so I filled in 4 and told the nurse that I wasn't ready to confess to the other ten.

    Hugs.

PS Where do you live Kathi? I live in CO.

I'm sending you my BIGGEST hugs...I'm up for my first post-cancer scope the end of this month...my gastro wants to put me out, in the OR, because of the radiation scar tissue. Sigh, I told her NO COMPROMISING PICTURES while in there! (hehehehe)
    Hugs,
    Kathi

I live in Denver. So sorry Kathi - you need to move. I want to meet you. Would love to meet Judy. I also meet with a survivor I met online. I love the experience. No one else quite understands.

Well I am not sure why you wouldn't tell them everything you are taking after all we know about suppliments and the mix with other things.
Up here in Canada they use to make you quit everyhting to do their chemo regimes so that it didn't get in the way of their experimental stats since everyone is totally different and don't react the same to treatments.
    I was just pondering this
