off topic, something positive
I hope that you're doing well. I thought I'd share something positive, even though it's off topic.
My daughter is getting married Saturday. I'm very excited and looking forward to the fun. She is my third daughter to get married in less than 5 years which explains my lack of money!
Sometimes I need to forget about cancer and enjoy life moving on! I hope that everyone has something positive and fun coming up to celebrate!
Take care,
Jamie

Congratulations! I firmly believe the more we forget we have cancer the better we deal with it - not denial, but just not letting it run our lives as much as possible.
I heard a great quote today from a friend who has stage 4 cancer and is fighting a medical retirement board - "I have this disease, it doesn't have me."
Have a great time at your daughter's wedding.
Cheers

Jamie,
I wish you and your daughter and family a wonderful day. Our only daughter is getting married in August. I am having such a hard time with the guest list. Maybe you can give me some pointers. And in Sept. both our boys will be in college. (I am also low in the cash dept.)
I will be thinking of you on Sat.

Of course you are excited and sure thing Jamie....no reason to keep it to yourself. Special times are what we all live for and this is a very special time. Hope you have a great day Jamie and that goes for your daughter too.Moesimo said:Jamie,

Jamie,
How lovely...you WILL post PICS???? RIGHT????
And aren't we family here, too? Why would you even THINK about not sharing????
I firmly believe that cancer has its place (perferable a VERY LOW place) in our lives, but OTHER things are MUCH MORE IMPORTANT.
But, remember, weddings bring on grandchildren somewhere down the line...are you ready to be a granny????? (I'm not, and I'm 50 years young).
Hugs,

Congratulations, Jamie. Enjoy the wedding. We are so happy to be alive and enjoy the wonderful things our families give us. I believe cancer gives us a better view and appreciation of things. Don't think of the cancer; enjoy the beauty of your daughter's wedding. Terri0
