Maybe someone can help or give advice. My father just had a blackout while driving his car he smashed up his car, drove up on a curb, blew 3 tires.
He said he didn't feel well when he woke up today and he has never blacked out before in his life.
He called the oncologist office and they just said if it happens again go to the hospital.

Would chemo cause this??? He's been on chemo Campostar (CPT-11), LEV, F5U + Avastin for the last ten weeks.

Thanks..
Sue

It sounds like he had a syncopal episode which could be caused by an irregular heart beat. you should call his primary care doc and have this checked out. He's lucky he wasnt hurt.

Has he been eating, drinking ok? Having any diarrhea, vomiting? Maybe he's dehydrated. That could do it, but I agree with Maureen. I'd see my primary care doc.
