Just got my first injection, I was told that I would be put on Lupron but when I got to the Doctors office I was injected with Trelstar. I was told by the nurse that it is better than Lupron because Lupron stops the hormone Testosterone but Trelstar actually lowers it. Anyone have any info? I would appreciate it. After a RRP in 2000 and Radiation Therapy in 2004 my PSA went up to .2 a month ago and then .3 on a repeat draw. I am 55 yrs.old.
