hi guys, it's scan time once again for Daddy, and of course and as usual, i'm scared to death.

He had his routine blood work last week and I am thrilled to say his cea is normal at 1.0, but it was always normal, even when he had the colon cancer in him, which turned out to be stage 3, but the one thing really worrying me is that his hemoglobulin (sp?) is a little low (12.5). This makes me nervous because the hemoglobulin being low which i guess makes you anemic is what made our primary physician suspicious last year and he was the one that made my dad get a colonoscopy and of course they found the tumor. I know chemotherapy makes you anemic but he finished chemotherapy back in February. Here we are 6 months later and he's still anemic? is this normal???? I'm just terribly scared something else is going on?

Has anyone every experienced this?

Thanks and please please please keep him in your prayers for his coming Wednesday's scan.

I will continue as always to keep everyone here in my prayers,

Susana

    can boost counts. Bud
