Just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts, comments and prayers. I spoke to the oncologist yesterday and walked away feeling even better about my decision. She didn't even try and talk me into sticking it out. Not a word. We discussed statistics, survival rate comparisons, and my particular case.

I'll be starting the new 5FU/Leuk on Monday. Looking forward to feeling semi-normal again.

You are all in my prayers and I thank GOD that I found this great site and wonderful people.

See, cancer does have some nice things associated with it...us!!!!

Love to all,

Barb

You know, Barb, if you become "semi-normal" you might not fit in with us "Abby Normal" folks anymore.

    Semi-normal = BAD

    Semi-colon = GOOD

Oh, George, you know I will always be a semi-colon. And to think of it, I have never been normal. So, the best I can hope for is a semi-colon, semi-normal existance. Which of course includes; the semi-sane, semi-coherient (sp), the semi-spelling ability, semi-serious, and semi-crazy. ( I guess if you are semi-normal, you can be semi-crazy!)

And just for the heck of it, I like semi-circles!!!!

But, I am 100% grateful for friends like you and the semi-colon family here. Love you guys and gals.
