Hi Ladies:

Here's a link for those interested, where you may take positive action in helping to defeat SB722 (Senate Bill), proposed legislation which, if passed, will greatly reduce our choices in and access to, supplements. This Bill threatens to place severe restricitons upon the supplement industry, across the board, proven safety notwithstanding. To read more about the bill, go to www.senate.gov and click on the legislation link to read the bill. Then you may click on the link to find your own Senator contact info. I urge you to send an email, fax or make a phone call to voice your opposition to this dangerous piece of legislation and urge your Senator to vote against it. Citizen voices of opposition to this bill is paramount to its defeat. It's important to make our communications respectful, brief and clear and to inform our friends who may be interested.

Kudos to everyone who can take action!

For some good general information about supplements, etc. you may also want to visit: www.citizens.org (this is the citizens for health website) Very informative, with links for taking actions on various issues, interesting newsletters, etc..

Love light and laughter,
Ink

    Ink,
Thank you so much for bringing this to everyone's attention! It is such an important issue, can you imagine going in for Vitamin E and being told it's no longer available?!
That's exactly what they TRIED to do with vitamin A!
I tell you people need to take a stand or they can say good-bye to St John's Wort, saw palmetta, noni juice...all of the alt meds, that work.
    Thanks again, hummer

    Hi-
I looked into the site www.citizens.org and put as favorite.
I used the letter that they supply to send email to the legislators regarding the suppliments, Bill SB722.
Also sent the site to friends in my address book.
Thank you Inkblot for this information.
