Staps!! Any suggestions?

My real question tonight is about bras.

Have left mastectomy and use a regular weight prosthesis. However, during the day the bra band drifts ever so slightly, and slowly, in the diection of the remaining breast. So, after a few hours the strap over the remaining breast is falling down-I pull it up, falling down, etc.

The band of the bra drifts so slightly that it is not noticeable to others. I have tried fastening the band tighter, but it ends up difting all the same.

Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?

I go for mammo tomorrow and if a second mastectomy (is recommended, then this may be a moot point.

    I finally got fitted at a prosthesis store! They know which bra is the proper fit, and it helped me look a lot better. I am not as concerned about my appearance as other women because for six months or so I didn't wear a bra at all, and I think I shocked a lot of people without even realizing it because I was so grateful just to be alive! Sometimes I still wear a slightly smaller, less expensive lightweight prosthesis and if it is a little off, well, I wear loose-fitting sweaters and tops anyway! Hope this helps!

    I went to a place where they fit you with a bra and a prosthesis. It was a good investment, and my insurance paid for most of it. If your bra fits well, it makes all the difference in the world. I have since had reconstruction, but I wore my fake boob for a year.
