I have recently been diagnosed with LCIS and atypical lobular hyperplasia. I've had an excisional biopsy of the site and at this point, they have not found any invasive cancer. I have lots of questions about risk. I've seen between 20% and 83% stated as my lifetime risk for developing invasive cancer and I'm considering the STAR trial. I don't have much confidence in my doctor. Anyone been through this that can give me some advice?

If you don't have confidence in your Doctor then run to another one. the most important part of your treatment is being comfortable and open with your Doctor.I was diagnosed with the same and used the internet for alot of information.
