Help with Wigs after Radiation

My mother has had radiation treatment for a brain tumor, and was telling me of an experience about her wig getting blown off of her head because of the wind and no hair to fasten it to. She had a good sense of humor about it, but I am wondering if anybody has any ideas about how to keep a wig on a bald head more securely?

Don't know if you are still looking for an answer, but they do sell a special double-stick tape you can use with wigs. If you have a fairly bald spot to attach things to, this might work. Sewing a few strips of cotton-covered elastic in the netting of a few strategic areas could probably work pretty well too. Afterall, that's all the adjustment straps are made of...on the wigs that have them.0
