Greetings all. My name is Carol, I am 27, and assisting My mother through her 3rd bought with cancer. (uterine, vaginal, cervical and mets this time around)
I am not certain if this would be a proper place to post this msg, but I wanted to try.
I am in search for a place that sells Mother of the Bride clothing for plus sizes and special needs. She is scared that her radiation burn is going to show as well as her chemo tags.
Any help appreciated. Thank you so much.
Blessed Be
Carol

Hi Carol! I don't know of any specialty stores to tell you about, but I have a suggestion. Maybe you and your mother could pick out a pattern that she likes and then go to a seamstress to have the dress made. That way the seamstress could make any type of addition or alteration that would hide whatever your mother does not want to show. Good luck to you and to your mom. Best wishes, angie

    Hi Carol
I wonder if getting a hold of a LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER chapter in your area might be of help for a special occations such as this. It wouldn't hurt to contact not sure if they have web page but I would think so if not get a number for them at your cancer clinic where most information is available, often in the Family Councilling area.
Best wishes for you special Day,

Hi, Carol, yes, I know of some sites that sell plus sizes. Drapers & Damons and Lane Bryant, also Just My Size, I would recommend just putting in Plus Sizes in a search engine like Ask Jeeves. God bless you and your mom, Shirlann
