I am attending the first week and just thought that I would pass this along.

Best Wishes,

Greetings from Camp Mak-A-Dream in Montana!

Thanks for spreading the word about our FREE young adult cancer survivor programs! We had a wonderful winter program and are excited to gear up for the summer.

There are still spaces in our ever-popular summer Young Adult Conferences (ages 18-25 who have or have had cancer). The dates for these programs are AUGUST 4-11 and AUGUST 15-22. Please spread the word once again to any young adults you may know so that they may register. My feeling is that some of your past campers (either too old for camp, or perhaps not yet ready for a CIT progrgam) might benefit from this amazing week of community, spirit and friendship in beautiful, wild Montana.

The summer sessions are held at Camp Mak-A-Dream, Gold Creek, Montana (about 1 hour east of Missoula, in the Flint
Mountains). The Conferences are offered free of cost (we also have a limited number of travel scholarships). We have trained, professional staff and a medical center staffed with 4 nurses and 2 doctors.

The Young Adult Conference is particularly unique in that it was created to address important life decisions about issues like relationships, continuing education, career opportunities, getting health insurance and planning a family. Our programs feature guest speakers, educational workshops, group discussions. Recreational opportunities include hiking, rafting, arts and crafts (photography, candle-making, jewelry, etc), nightly entertainment (music, casino night, comedy improv, pottery party), a recreation room, campfire, and 20 person hot tub.

Please spread the word however you choose about this incredible opportunity (via email list serve, mailing, newsletter, etc). We would love to provide this FREE experience to more and more young adults facing cancer across the country.

Please tell any young adults you know about this opportunity!
Thanks!
