I am trying to find any information on what radiation does to the breast implant they have reconstructed me with. If anyone has had radiation with an implant please give me some info....Thanks

I had radiation after implant surgery. It didn't do anything to the implant itself. My skin got very red and burned and peeled off but the radiation doesn't go deep enough to affect the implant. Don't worry too much about your skin - it looks awful but heals nicely after you recover. Good luck
