In mid March, my dad was diagnosed with Liver cancer that had spread to the colon. the doctors gave him a prognosis of 6 months, more or less. At the time of diagnosis, his CEA levels were 7500. The doctors didn't hold out any hope for him, and told us "This cancer is not something that can be cured". Well, Dad has had only 4 chemo treatments, and so far his CEA levels have dropped from 7500 to 3500!!! His onocologist was VERY impressed (surprised, if you ask me) Dad has had 2 weeks off from treatment, and will start back up again next week. Dad said " This cancer is in for one hell of a fight, I'm not gonna just let it take me". And he's RIGHT! I give credit for his improvement to alot of things...Chemo, good nutrition, positive outlook and determination to beat this, but the one thing that has made the most impact (I believe) is the prayers on dad's behalf. Never give up hope!! To all those who have, or Love, someone with cancer, Don't give up hope! You're in my prayers.

MY DAD IS IN A VERY SIMILAR SITUATION. HE IS FIGHTING VERY HARD AND WE LIKE YOU WILL BEAT THIS. NUTRITION IS IMPORTANT- WHAT ARE YOU EATING? NOTHING TASTES GOOD TO MY FATHER AND HE IS NOT EATING THAT MUCH, USUALLY HAS A GOOD BREAKFAST THEN NOT MUCH THE REST OF THE DAY.
    THANKS,
