To me, Elizabeth Edwards is the epitome of strength.
I am so sorry to hear that her battle is strong, but the beast is going to prevail. She seems like such a sincere person, and one who would fight to the end. I will add her to my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for sharing this news. Judy

She has had so much sadness.
Elizabeth has had to deal with her bc while handling her husband's bad behavior and the media as well as trying to deal with her bc treatments and her children. I think that is important to note. Stress is a very bad thing and I don't think anyone can handle cancer while they are dealing with such stressful situations which are beyond their control. I think we can all take a lesson from Elizabeth. We need to put ourselves first and control our stress. It can save our lives. I wish her peace and love.

This makes me very sad, thank you for letting us know as Ihad not heard this. i saw her on TV and really had a lot of respect for her. i knew she was not curable, but was hoping she would be treatable for ever and ever.

because I heard on the radio tonight that she is in critical condition and that her entire family is by her side, including her **** (sorry, but can't stand him!) of an exhusband.
So it makes you wonder what the real story is. Regardless, she fought hard and with amazing grace and dignity. May she rest in peace whenever the Lord calls her home.

I was so sad to see this. She has been through so much with that jerk, yet has remained so strong in the face of everything that she is dealing with. I admire her strength so much; she serves as a wonderful example for all of us. My prayers go out to her.
